What is a Dive Site?
A dive site or dive spot is a set of coordinates (latitude and longitude) which give the most accurate location for the dive.
An example of a dive site is the Keystorm. The coordinates given on this site are the exact entry point of the dive for the Keystorm wreck. The Keystorm is located in the St. Lawrence River along with hundreds of other wrecks and dive sites. This is why it is important to give the proper coordinates and not create a dive site named "St. Lawrence River".
A Dive Site / Dive Spot is NOT:
- A city, town, location or beach name ie. Key West, Palm beach
- A large reef name ie. Great Barrier Reef
- A Dive Shop name ie. Dave's Dive Shop
- Coordinates that point to land and not water
- A group of dive sites ie. Florida's reef dive sites
A Dive Site IS:
- A Boat Wreck ie. USS Spiegel Grove
- A section of a Reef ie. Neptune Memorial Reef
- An artificial Quarry or body of water ie. Morrison's Quarry
- A pool where you did your dive training ie. Fosse de Charenton
- A spot where you simply enjoy diving ie. Abe's Rock
Dive sites are meant to be shared so all divers can find out the many amazing dives of the world, make sure your information is as accurate as possible, and if you see wrong information, help fix it.
Happy Diving!

To avoid double entry.. showing current dive site added by self/other will be great. It's like add dive log function. Sorry if i've post to wrong thread. Just a comment. Thanks.
